After three years, we were thrilled to bring the 2026 Wisdom Capital L.P. Annual Investor Meeting back to Taiwan. Opened by our Chairman Jim Y.C. Chen, the meeting shared JC Capital’s vision and priorities for the year, highlighting our portfolio progress and long-term goals.
In response to the evolving industrial and capital market landscape in Taiwan and the growing influence of the AI Economy, industry and corporate leaders came together to share key technologies and insights. The event featured a series of forums addressing key industry themes — from advanced semiconductor manufacturing and packaging, to AI data centers, and the emerging AI-driven industrial revolution in edge computing and robotics — collectively providing a comprehensive view of the next stage of industry transformation.

1. Beyond Moore’s Law: Integration and Innovation in Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing and Advanced Packaging
💡 Insight:
- A breakthrough in physics and cost: As AI chip sizes continue to grow, traditional wafer-level packaging is approaching its limits in both capacity and cost. By turning the 300mm round wafer into a square format — moving toward large-area panel-level packaging (PLP/CoPoS) — utilization can rise above 85%, with costs reduced significantly. PLP is projected to grow at a 45.5% CAGR through 2031, reaching nearly $3 billion in market size.
- A golden reshuffling of the global supply chain: Geopolitics is accelerating the decentralization of the global semiconductor industry. Asia’s tech hubs, leveraging the “Taiwan+1” advantage, are entering an unprecedented era of equipment and in-house R&D opportunity

Pentamaster Speaker: COO Louis You
Headquartered in Penang, Malaysia, Pentamaster is a major force in global automated test equipment (ATE), commanding a strong market valuation. To meet the extreme thermal demands of AI chips, Pentamaster has introduced system-level test (SLT) and burn-in solutions, while expanding into silicon photonics (CPO) and glass substrate inspection to ensure zero-defect chip quality.
Skytech Speaker: Chairman Paul Huang
Founded in 2002 and led by a former Applied Materials global VP, Skytech delivered the world’s first 310x310mm PLP PVD system this January, now running on a leading domestic OSAT’s production line, with nearly 90% local content. With $500 billion in new equipment opportunity expected over the next four years, Skytech is moving full force into the advanced packaging market.
Manz Asia Speaker: CEO Robert Lin
With nearly 40 years of history and more than 8,000 PCB units shipped, Manz Asia transformed into a fully independent Taiwan company through a management buyout. Having entered semiconductor panel-level packaging in 2014, the company’s distinctive plating, wet-process, and through-glass-via (TGV) technologies have made it one of the few local equipment makers able to compete alongside international leaders.
2. The New Battleground of AI Data Centers: Essential Technologies Driving AIDC Growth
💡 Insight:
- The “asymmetric competition” of moving from cloud to on-premise: Moving sensitive data to the cloud carries security risks and unpredictable API costs, pushing AI computing back on-premise. As QNAP’s Chairman put it, the competition ahead is “asymmetric” — small teams equipped with private AI agents will be able to out-maneuver and outproduce much larger traditional enterprises.
- Cooling evolves from “component” to “system integration”: As power draw per GPU keeps climbing, traditional air cooling has reached its limits. Facility-level liquid cooling system integration — spanning coolant distribution units (CDUs) and piping design — is becoming the new standard.

As the leading global NAS brand, QNAP directly tackles enterprises’ concerns about moving sensitive data to the cloud. By integrating storage, virtualization, GPU compute, and large language models (LLMs), QNAP delivers a ready-to-deploy private AI knowledge base. Combined with enterprise-grade high availability (HA) and disaster recovery architecture, it lets enterprises run AI agents securely with zero risk.
- ORing Industrial Speaker: Chairman Angus Shih
Deeply integrates compute, networking, and zero-trust security to build edge AI cabinets purpose-built for industrial settings. Through a smart orchid greenhouse project in southern Taiwan, ORing demonstrated how AI-driven environmental monitoring and drone-based image prediction can deliver low-latency, high-privacy, real-time closed-loop control.
- SkyeChip Speaker: Founder & CEO SK Fong
As the first IC design company to list on Bursa Malaysia, SkyeChip’s IPO was oversubscribed 95 times on debut, with a net margin surpassing 30%. The company directly addresses edge AI’s core pain points — power and bandwidth — by providing advanced-node Silicon IP, including HBM3/HBM3E memory interfaces and Network-on-Chip (NoC), alongside custom ASIC design, growing rapidly on the back of the “Taiwan+1” tailwind.
- META Green Cooling Technology Speaker: President Dr. Clyde Chu
Moving beyond the model of a traditional single-component cooling vendor, META Green focuses on building out complete AI data center cooling systems — including CDUs up to 2.5MW, alongside power and monitoring design.
3. The New Industrial Revolution of AI: From Perception to Decision — How Agentic AI and Robotics Are Reshaping Industries
💡 Insight:
- Coordinates are becoming the new tokens of the Physical AI era: Language is merely the interface — the true foundation of Physical AI is spatial perception. The bottleneck ahead isn’t how smart an AI model is, but whether a system can accurately understand the physical world — including geometric coordinates and depth — and act on it in the real world.
- From “passive response” to “Ambient AI”: Consumer-grade AI is moving past today’s passive, command-driven model and evolving into ambient intelligence — capable of persistent contextual awareness and personalization, seamlessly woven into and coordinating the edge devices around us.

- Kijalab Speaker: Founder & CEO Balaji Krishnan Argues that the next step for consumer AI isn’t a smarter chatbot, but Physical AI capable of persistent personalization and contextual awareness. By combining this with edge computing, Kijalab is building AI as an invisible infrastructure — one that anticipates needs and seamlessly supports daily life.
- Plugable Technologies Speaker: Co-Founder & CTO Bernie Thompson With nearly 5 million customers, this leading US docking and expansion device maker has sharply identified enterprise concerns around cloud AI. Through its TBT5-AI hardware setup, open-source models with tens of billions of parameters can run smoothly on-premise — letting enterprises securely run database inference and analysis offline.
- eYs3D Microelectronics Speaker: President James Wang Spun off from Etron Technology, eYs3D specializes in 3D depth-sensing chips and edge AI SoC technology. Under the thesis that “coordinates are becoming the new tokens for the Physical AI era,” the company offers a complete stack from edge perception to cloud-based intelligence, giving service robots and autonomous vehicles the 3D visual intelligence they need.
- Addverb Speaker: CEO Sangeet Kumar Spans the full range of automation robotics solutions. Using vision-language models as its backbone, combined with reinforcement learning and imitation learning, Addverb enables robots to understand the physical world through observation — much like a child learning by watching — significantly improving autonomous adaptability in complex warehouse and industrial environments.
